Since moving from a small town in Wisconsin Lucy Buttons, "the Queen of Rock and Roll Burlesque" has quickly become a staple on the NYC burlesque, pin up, and glamour circuits.  Her dance based take on the classic bump and grind, mixed with rock and roll classics has gotten her featured in television, print, and in film.  Miss Buttons shared the red carpet with legendary Dita Von Teese.  Lucy has performed at the the Coney Island Rockabilly Festival, New York Burlesque Festival, Windy City Burlesque Festival, and The Great Boston Burlesque Expo taking home The Legend's Choice Award, and Most Classic!  Also a talented singer, songwriter, actress, and dancer in other disciplines, this lady is quickly moving in on her ultimate goal... taking over the world!  Now she's back in Wisconsin.

We'll be auctioning off some sassy personal items of the Pies--stockings, pasties, and brassieres, oh my!--in addition to having a raffle AND a bake sale! Daisy Chains and Ana Marquis will be strapping on their silky aprons to bake you tasty treats!

And we still need some items to help us get to Minneapolis! We would appreciate anything and everything our lovely fans can donate! The Peach Pies want to make Wisconsin proud. :)

NovelTease - March 10th, 2012 - Kenosha

NovelTease 1 hour Showcase will make it's Wisconsin debut in Kenosha on March 10th, 2012 at Art Works on 7th Ave! Show starts promptly at 9pm. There is no cover for this special opening show of NovelTease, so get a sneak peek of some of the Burlesque talent from Kenosha, Wisconsin, and Northern Illinios.

The new revised dates are ready! The new show dates are 3-10 through 4-25. The opening reception is scheduled for March 10th from 6-9 pm From 9-10 ArtWorks is featuring a full, authentic burlesque performance. (18 and over please)

The entry info:

Artists may submit up to 3 pieces in any media for this show. The entry fee is a flat $15 fee whether you enter 1, 2 0r 3 pieces. This fee is not refundable. This show is panel juried which means that entries are not guaranteed inclusion in the exhibition. All work needs to be ready to hang. ArtWorks will retain a 35% commission on sold work. Submissions made in person are due no later than March 5th. email entries must be received by Feb. 22 in 300dpi or smaller jpegs. (Please do not send monster sized files) entries should be sent to: gallery@artworkskenosha.com. An online artist entry form is available on line here
